The cap features a traditional high peak crown with tightly seated and even white woolen Officer’s piping, running along the crown of the cap, as well as the top and bottom edges of the cap band. The cap band itself is constructed of high quality black felt and is completely free of bumps, holes, or signs of tampering. The second pattern Waffen-SS skull sits centered on the cap band, and is equally constructed of silvered zink. The visor is constructed of Vulkanfiber, with a molded raised ridge running along the brim. It is lacquered in glossy black on the obverse, and is coloured beige with a criss-cross pattern on the underside, remaining firmly attached to the cap. The chin cord consists of a main cord cafted of multiple thick strands of twisted bullion chords, as well as two sliders constructed of four strands of thin twisted bullion cord, and is attached to either side of the cap via a silvered pebbled magnetic button. The interior of the cap is lined in a beige coloured satin blended fabric. The crown portion of the cap also features a clear celluloid diamond that is embossed “G.A.R. Deutsche Industrie” as well as “Deutsche Wertarbeit - Stirndruckfrei”, stitched in place using off-white coloured twill. Towards the edge of the cap is also a brown leather sweatband. This cap is completely unmarked. The silver finish has dissipated from the insignia over time, however, this cap remains in near mint and unworn condition.
