Germany, Wehrmacht. An Early Silver Grade Wound Badge with Case

(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre featuring a large mobile swastika, superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom, the reverse plain with a vertical pinback, measuring 36.46 mm (w) x 43.94 mm (h), weighing 38.4 g, with matching dark-red faux leather case measuring 66 mm (w) x 66 mm (h), and in near extremely fine condition.
