A fine badge in hollow stamped silver with pleasing patina, obverse presenting laurel surround with ribbon tie, centre motif biplane flying over a landscape, adorned by Prussian State Crown, reverse with a sun ray design and engraved “Hendricks, Flieger Abt. 4, Posen”, with bottom date of “14.8.16”, a barrel hinge, round catch and flat pin, silver hallmark “800” on pin, measuring 44.71 mm (w) x 71.52 mm (h), weighing 21.0 grams, remains very fine.
