(Wehrmacht Unterwäsche). This is a very well-preserved Second War period Wehrmacht winter undergarment, constructed of multiple pieces of rabbit fur with grey wool sleeves. It is closed by an six tan-coloured bakelite buttons securely stitched to the left breast flap, meeting an equal number of braided white rayon loops on the right. The outer trim is fully reinforced by a double machine-stitched white rayon border. The sleeves are constructed of heavy, stretchable grey wool. The undergarment features a handwritten inscription of the name “PUSCHAVER” and number “2743” at the interior collar, where there is also a rayon loop for hanging the item when not in use, but it is otherwise unmarked. Measuring approximately 510 mm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 590 mm and an overall length of 642 mm, in near extremely fine condition.
