Germany, Third Reich. A 1934 Horse Racing Grand Prize Medallion

(Braune Band Deutschlands Großer Preis Abzeichen). Constructed of bronze, obverse depicts two rider-mounted horses, reverse with raised inscription of “GROSSER PREIS UM DAS BRAUNE BAND DEUTSCHLANDS, MUENCHEN-RIEM, 1934” (“GRAND PRIZE OF THE BROWN BAND OF GERMANY, MUNICH-RIEM, 1934”), topped by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 50 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
