Germany, Imperial. A Wilhelm II Shooting Award Belonging to Gilbert Wolf

(Schießauszeichnung). A silver round medal, the obverse features a left-facing bust of Wilhelm II, embossed with “WILHELM II DEUTSCH. KAISER KÖNIG V. PREUSS.,” the reverse displays a wreath of oak leaves tied at the bottom with ribbon, the reverse centre presents the name “Gilbert Wolf” in script, circumscribed by “SchiessAusZeichnung GEWEHRFABRIK DANZIG,” stamped “G. LOOS” beneath Wilhelm’s neck on the obverse, measuring 34 mm in diameter, on ring and suspended from period original black, white, and red ribbon, and in overall very fine condition.
