(Drittes Reich Abzeichen). A group of three Third Reich period badges, including a Reichsarbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service) cap badge, constructed of aluminum with a red enameled shovel with a central black enameled mobile swastika, with both obverse attachment prongs intact, maker marked on reverse with “L & M” for Lind & Meyrer, Oberstein, measuring 37 mm x 46 mm, in very fine condition; a Schutzpolizei (Protection Police) off-duty officer’s badge, constructed of zink, horizontal pinback, marked “01” on reverse, measuring 28 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), in very fine condition, and; a 1938 Tag der Arbeit (Day of Labour) badge, constructed of zink, vertical pinback, maker marked on reverse “Deschler & Sohn, München”, measuring 36 mm in diameter, in near very fine condition.
