Germany, Wehrmacht. A Clasp to the 1939 Iron Cross, II Class, First Type

(Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz II Class). Constructed of silvered tombak, presenting a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika above a scalloped trapezoid depicting reinstitution date “1939,” reverse features three out of four prongs intact (two lower prongs missing), unmarked, 29.61 mm (w) x 30.75 mm (h), weighing 8.0 g, and in very fine condition.
