Germany, Luftwaffe. A Bomber Pilot’s Clasp, Gold Grade

(Frontflugspange für Kampf- und Sturzkampfflieger in Gold). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse with a central downward-pointing winged bomb and a static swastika on the bottom of the wreath, with nine laurel leaves on either side, reverse with a horizontal pinback and a barrel hinge meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 75.98 mm (w) x 25.43 mm (h), weighing 16.9 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
