Germany, DJ. A German Youths Standard Issue Service Belt and Belt Buckle

(Deutsche Jugend Koppelschloss). A belt constructed of chocolate brown leather, with seven rows of double vertically oriented holes pierced into the separately sticked-on leather tab for length adjustment, stamped “BERLIN” on tab, measures 4 cm (w) x 86.5 cm (l), with belt buckle constructed of silvered bronze with a single DJ rune on the obverse, the reverse shows a standard catch and double-claw crossbar, marked “RZM” and “A&S” for Assmann & Söhne, measures 6.2 cm (w) x 4.5 cm (h), and in overall very fine condition.
