(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse with a central Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) overlaid with a mobile swastika, superimposed on crossed swords and within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, marked on reverse with manufacturer code “65” for maker Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein, measuring 36.61 mm (w) x 43.87 mm (h), weighing 29.9 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
