In bronze gilt, obverse illustrating a soldier wearing headphones and performing mine sweeping, another soldier at the left rear kneeling, a tank, truck and town in the background, three planes in the clouds, the Royal Canadian Engineers insignia flanked by the dates "1939" and "1945", the insignia backed by a ribbon banner bearing the various names of conflicts that the 6th Field Company participated in during the Second World War above, a ribbon banner below inscribed "SIXTH CANADIAN FIELD COY / ROYAL CANADIAN ENGINEERS", blank reverse, measuring 50.5 mm (w) x 70.2 mm (h), scattered gilt wear evident on the obverse, contact marks on the reverse, very fine.
