Germany, Heer. A First War Period Heer (Army) EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle

(Heer Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of silvered bronze, obverse bearing a central imperial crown circumscribed by inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD IS WITH US”) and laurel branches, reverse with loop and dual attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 47 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
