Germany, Wehrmacht. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, by Carl Wild

(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered zink, obverse depicts a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) bearing a mobile swastika on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field with laurel branch wreath, reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, marked with maker code “107” for Carl Wild, Hamburg, measuring 36.77 mm (w) x 44.30 mm (h), weighing 26.0 grams, in better than very fine condition.
