Prussia, Imperial. A Waterloo Campaign Medal for Non-Combatants

(Kriegsdenkmünze für Nichtkämpfer). Constructed of blackened magnetic iron, on loop for suspension, obverse with central royal monogram of Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm III topped by Prussian imperial crown, above inscription of “Für Pflichttreue im Kriege” (“For Loyalty in Wartime”), circumscribed by inscription “Gott war mit uns, Ihn sey die Ehre” (“God was with us, to Him the glory”), reverse with a raised Iron Cross with central date of “1815”, unmarked, measuring 25 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
