Germany, Weimar. A Silesian Eagle Badge, I Class

(Schlesischer Adler). A black upright, right-facing eagle with a silver-coloured flat crescent and cross across the chest, clutching a silvered banner with the inscription “FÜR SCHLESIEN” (“FOR SILESIA”), the reverse shows a vertical pinback, unmarked, measures 32.21 mm (w) x 41.65 mm (h), weighs 19.4 grams, and in overall extremely fine condition.
