Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Medals

(Abzeichen). A Third Reich Period Hans Schemm Remembrance Day badge, constructed of bronze, the obverse presents Schemm’s left-facing profile, inscribed with “Halten einander die Treue” (“Be Loyal to Each Other”), designer mark “H. Schwegerle” below the bust, nreverse presents a horizontal pinback, maker mark “DESCHLER & SOHN,” measuring 37 mm in diameter, and in fair condition. A 1935 “The Saar is German Forever” plebiscite medal constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse depicts a proletariat, circumscribed by “DEUTSCH DIE SAAR, IMMERDAR” (“GERMAN THE SAAR, FOREVER”) and maker mark “FR” below the figure, the reverse depicts a map of the Saarland, circumscribed by “VOLKSABSTIMMUNG IM SAARGEBIET - 13.1.1935” (“REFERENDUM IN SAAR TERRITORY 13 JANUARY 1935”), measuring 36 mm in diameter, and in very fine condition.
