Germany, Wehrmacht. A Panzer Assault Badge, Bronze Grade, by Karl Wurster

(Panzerkampfabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a border of oak leaves with a tie at the base and a Panzerkampfwagen IV superimposed in the centre on grassy ground, with its left tank track extending over the edge of the badge, the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, a crimped plated hinge, and a crimped round wire catch, marked with logo of maker Karl Wurster, Markneukirchen, measuring 41.53 mm (w) x 60.07mm (h), weighing 36.6 grams, in near mint condition.
