Germany, NSDAP. An Ortsgruppenleiter Armband

(NSDAP Ortsgruppenleiter Armband). Constructed of a red cotton blended background with a central embroidered black swastika on white rayon blended field, all bordered by gold bullion wire thread, extending from the centre is a band of gold bullion wire oak leaves with the top and bottom bordered by dual narrow bands of gold bullion wire threads, the outer edges also bear narrow bands of gold bullion wire threads, while light blue piping completes the outer edges, pinned into the centre of the swastika is a single brass pip bearing a Parteiadler- (Party Eagle) style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, the centre emblem measures 80 mm in diameter while the armband measures 185 mm (w) x 132.5 mm (h) when folded, reverse with Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) tag clearing bearing manufacturer code “A4/148” and serial number “059781”, the armband is no longer stitched into a loop, but is in an otherwise near extremely fine condition.
