Germany, Wehrmacht. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, by Klein & Quenzer

(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered tombak, obverse depicts a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) bearing a mobile swastika on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field with laurel branch wreath, marked on reverse with “65” for maker Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, measuring 37.14 mm (w) x 44.28, weighing 30.1 grams, in very fine condition.
