A fine quality set of Pioneer Obersturmführer (SS-Senior Storm Leader) shoulder boards constructed of four rows of silver twisted wire in a U-shaped Russian braided pattern, with a black wool backing and black piping (signifying Pioneer), with a button-hole and matching black tongue for uniform attachment, with a single gilded rank pip on the obverse, measuring 36 mm (w) x 104 mm (h), showing mild soiling, and in better than very fine condition.
