Constructed of silver, on suspension apparatus with period original ribbon, bearing “MALAY PENINSULA” clasp, obverse with central inscription reading “FOR CAMPAIGN SERVICE”, topped by royal crown, within oak leaf wreath, reverse with central rightward-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II circumscribed by name and title, edge inscribed “L/CPL. R. L. BEAUVAIS, R. SIGNALS” with serial number “23927788”, measuring 36.30 mm in diameter, accompanied by its period original case of issue, constructed of white cardboard, obverse lid stamped with royal crown, with off-white paper pocket, measuring 58 mm (w) x 83 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
