Italy, Kingdom. A Royal Carabineri Territorial Legion of Bari Medal, c.1925

In bronze gilt, obverse illustrating Victoria, representing Victory at the left, placing a wreath of laurel leaves upon a Carabineri soldier at the right, the soldier placing his hand on a small chalice bearing the cypher of King Vittorio Emmanuel III, surrounded by the inscription "LEGIONE TERRITORIALE CARABINIERI REALI / BARI", reverse illustrating a large building above the Carabineri insignia, surrounded by the inscription "FERT FERT FERT FERT FERT" and engraver marked "GIVERA", measuring 34.3 mm in diameter, discolouration evident on the reverse, near extremely fine.
