Constructed of gilded and silvered tombak, presenting as an oval laurel and oak oval wreath, with a central swooping “J-1” variation Luftwaffe-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked but bearing the physical characteristics of manufacture by Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid, measuring 62.78 mm (w) x 52.70 mm (h), weighing 43.8 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
