Germany, Wehrmacht. A Silver Grade Legion Condor Wound Badge

(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered bronze, obverse depicts a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) bearing a mobile swastika on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field with laurel branch wreath, unmarked, reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, measuring 38.09 mm (w) x 43.53 mm (h), weighing 8.5 grams, hardly worn, in near mint condition.
