Germany, NSDAP. A Gau Baden Honour Badge, by Friedrich Klett

(Gau Baden Ehrenabzeichen). Constructed of silvered tombak, obverse presents with an oval oak leaf wreath, with central NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, above inscription of “GAU BADEN”, reverse with a vertical pinback and maker’s mark of “Fr. Klett, Karlsruhe”, measuring 35.14 mm (w) x 45.74 mm (h), weighing 14.5 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
