Spain, Franco Period. A Blue Division Medal

Constructed of coppered bronze with black enamel, on loop for suspension, presenting as Spanish-style eagle overlaid with black enameled Iron Cross bearing a mobile swastika, reverse with depiction of Novgorod Kremlin surrounded by a chain wreath, with inscription “Rusia 1941”, unmarked, measuring 38 mm (w) x 51 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
