A pair of Verwaltungspolizei (Administrative Police) shoulder boards constructed of aluminum bullion Russian braid of four rows of interwoven silver threads, hand-stitched to a red backing, over a light-grey wool backing, with a cardboard core, measuring 38 mm (w) x 98mm (l), and in extremely fine condition.

Footnote: The Verwaltungspolizei performed administrative functions for all components of the German Police. The underlay colour changed from red over grey to just grey in 1942.
