Germany, Heer. A German Army NCO Breast Eagle

(Brustadler). A breast eagle constructed of a machine woven, Heer-style eagle with outstretched wings, clutching a wreathed, mobile swastika, in silvered aluminum flat-wire threads over a cut-out, woven, blue-green rayong base, which is stitched on a blue-green wool backing, measuring 10.8 cm (w) x 4.4 cm (h), and in better than very fine condition.
