Germany, Wehrmacht. A 1939 Clasp to the Iron Cross, I Class

(Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz). Constructed of silvered tombak, presenting as a German national eagle clutching wreathed mobile swastika, above a trapezoid depicting reinstitution date of “1939”, two of four reverse attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 30.73 mm (w) x 30.70 mm (h), weighing 6.7 grams, in very fine condition.
