Italy, Kingdom, Republic. A Cortina d'Ampezzo 1224 Skiing Commemorative Medal

In silvered bronze, obverse illustrating a downhill skier on the slopes, a tree at the far right, mountains in the background, inscribed "CORTINA" above "1224" (the height in meters at which the facility is located) at the base, blank reverse, measuring 35.3 mm in diameter, oxidation under the skier's arm, black marks evident on the reverse, a red, white and green cord fed through the integral suspension, better than very fine.
