A unique and well-preserved Waffen-SS leather belt and buckle, the former constructed of blackened leather, one end with a magnetic metal clip, the other with dual rows of seven eyelets, the interior with hand-engraved inscriptions of “Iceland, Scotland, England, France, Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg, Germany,” possibly denoting the locations of a British or American servicemen being stationed throughout the course of the war, measuring 95 cm (l) x 4.5 cm (w), in near extremely fine condition, accompanied by an SS buckle, constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse with a central SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, inside a ribbed border, circumscribed by SS motto “Meine Ehre heißt Treue” (“My Honour is Loyalty”), measuring 65 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
