(Deutscher Adlerorden I. Stufe). Multi-piece construction, consisting of a Maltese cross in gilt silver and white enameled arms, with four national eagles Hoheitszeichen between the arms of the cross, marked 900 for silver content, measuring 50.79 mm (w) x 50.47 mm (h), on flat loop for suspension from period original neck ribbon, and in overall better than extremely fine condition.
