(Ehrenzeichen 1.Klasse für 50 Jahre des Sächsischen-Militär-Vereins-Bundes). Instituted on 11 July 1920. (1920-1934 Issue). A cross constructed of gilded non-ferrous metal, the arms of the cross curve wider towards the outside and the corners are bevelled, the obverse is constructed of green-enamels, bordered by gilded edges, the centre presents the association’s insignia, the number 50 in gilt on the 12 o’clock arm, the reverse smooth, stamped with the maker GLASER UND SOHN, DRESDEN, measuring 39.54 mm (w) x 45.66 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon bearing the gilded number 50 in an open wreath of two oak leaves crossed below, and in overall near very fine condition.
