An Imperial period medal bar featuring two decorations, including a Regimental Honour Cross for the 3rd Brandenburg Infantry Regiment 20 constructed of a gilt cross pattée with swords between the arms, the obverse centre presents a circular medallion bearing the German Imperial crowned eagle, the upper, left, right, and lower arms inscribed FÜR KAISER UND REICH (WITH GOD FOR EMPEROR AND EMPIRE), the reverse centre presents the Imperial crown, the upper, left, right, and lower arms inscribed respectively MIT GOTT FÜR KÖNIG U. VATERLAND (WITH GOD FOR KING AND FATHERLAND), measuring 39.31 mm (w) x 44.67 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon mounted for wear with bronze crowned 3.BRANDB.JNF.R.20 clasp above bronze crossed rifles, and in overall very fine condition. A 25th Year Anniversary of the Reorganization of the German Empire medal, measuring 39.45 mm in diameter, and in very fine condition.
