Germany, Luftwaffe. A Bomber Pilot’s Clasp, Silver Grade, by Funke and Brüninghaus

(Frontflugspange für Kampf- und Sturzkampfflieger in Silber). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse with a central downward-pointing winged bomb and a static swastika on the bottom of the wreath, with nine laurel leaves on either side, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “F&B” for Funke & Brüninghaus, Lüdenscheid, measuring 76.69 mm (w) x 26.19 mm (h), weighing 17.1, in near extremely fine condition.
