Germany, Weimar. A Saxon Military Association Confederation, II Class Medal

(Ehrenzeichen 2.Klasse für 40 Jahre des Sächsischen-Militär-Vereins-Bundes). Instituted on 13 July 1924. (1924-1934 Issue). A cross constructed of silver, with green-enamelled arms, the arms of the cross curve wider towards the outside and the corners are bevelled, the obverse centre presents the association’s insignia, the number 40 engraved on the 12 o’clock arm in white enamel, the reverse smooth, measuring 39.61 mm (w) x 45.61 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in overall very fine condition.
