Insignia in silver, mounted to a pickled copper base, voided, brown leather insert held in place via two prongs highlighting the voided area on the reverse, measuring 40.7 mm (w) x 47.5 mm (h), intact lugs, light contact, near extremely fine.

Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Quebec, with mobilization headquarters at Montreal under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. On May 24, 1916 the Battalion was moved to Bermuda for garrison duty. On November 27, 1916 the Battalion sailed for England under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel H. DesRosiers with a strength of 38 officers and 822 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 10th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
