United States. Silver Star, two-piece construction, silver star placed upon a bronze gilt star-shaped base, 34.5 mm x 36.5 mm, on original ribbon with brooch pinback, minor silvering wear on the star, extremely fine condition. Accompanied by its 12.3 mm x 35.5 mm Ribbon Bar with pinback and its 3.5 mm x 17 mm enameled Ribbon Bar with buttonhole attachment, in its hardshelled case of issue, marked "SILVER STAR MEDAL" on the lid, residue on lid, still extremely fine condition.
