Germany, Third Reich. A Lot of Third Reich Period Event Badges

(Tagesabzeichen). A lot of four Third Reich period event badges, including a Gautag Ost-Hannover 1937 NSDAP event badge, constructed of circular compressed paper, in a brown finish, on the face is a design depicting an eagle with downswept wings, curved to match the border, clasping a circular wreath containing a swastika, superimposed by two crossed horse heads, with the inscription “GAUTAG OST-HANNOVER DER N.S.D.A.P. 1937,” the reverse presents a vertical pinback, stamped with “ESO LEDERPLASTIK D.R.G.M. E.O. FRIEDRICH LEIPZIG” in black ink, measuring 39 mm in diameter, and in extremely fine condition. A 1934 NSDAP Hesselberg Treffen Gau Mittelfranken badge, in bronze, on a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 37 mm (w) x 47 mm (h), and in very fine condition. A 1938 Steyr Kreisturnfest event badge, by J. Mayr of Linz, on a horizontal pinback, measuring 29 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), and in very fine condition. A 1939 Steyr Women’s Festival day badge, inscribed “GESUNDE FRAU-GESUNDE VOLK” (“HEALTHY WOMEN, HEALTHY NATION”), by A. Menze & Sohne of Wien, on a horizontal pinback, measuring 39.5 mm in diameter, and in good condition.
