Constructed of bronze, obverse depicting central mounted horse, within an oval oak leaf wreath, with a horseshoe and letter “R” at the base, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting an elongated round wire catch, maker marked “L. Christian Lauer, Nürnberg-Berlin”, measuring 41.74 mm (w) x 51.96 mm (h), weighing 14.9 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
