A pair of Wound Badges, including a First War badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse depicting a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field with laurel branch wreath, unmarked, reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 39.79 mm (w) x 45.29 mm (h), weighing 10.8 grams, in near extremely fine condition, and; a Second War badge, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse depicting a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) overlaid by a mobile swastika on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field with laurel branch wreath, unmarked, reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked on reverse with code “L/52” for C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim, measuring 36.93 mm (w) x 44.16 mm (h), weighing 11.7 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
