Germany, Weimar. A Silesian Eagle, Post-1957 Reissue

(Schlesischer Adler). Constructed of patinated and silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a Silesian-style eagle overlaid with a crescent and cross, with a banner between its talon inscribed “FÜR SCHLESIEN” (“FOR SILESIA”), the reverse with a barrel hinge and narrow banjo-style pinback meeting flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 32 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
