(Bandschnalle). A medal bar with three medals and decorations, consisting of a 1914 Iron Cross, II Class (Eisernes Kreuz 1914 2. Klasse). A cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border, the obverse with a raised central W under an Imperial crown, and institution date 1914 in raised numbering on the lower arm, the reverse centre with a branch of three oak leaves below the crowned initials FW, with the original institution date 1813 in raised numbering on the lower arm, measuring 42.57 mm (w) x 46.33 mm (h), and in very fine condition. A gilded round medal, the obverse presents a soldier in uniform holding a wreath, the reverse presents the inscription WANDERPREIS OBERBARMER KRIEGER-VEREIN 1924 (CHALLENGE TROPHY OBERBARMER VETERANS ASSOCIATION 1924), measuring 40.46 mm in diameter, and in near very fine condition. A silvered round medal, the obverse presents a soldier in uniform holding a wreath, the reverse presents the inscription WANDERPREIS OBERBARMER KRIEGER-VEREIN 1923 (CHALLENGE TROPHY OBERBARMER VETERANS ASSOCIATION 1923, measuring 40.46 mm in diameter, and in near very fine condition. Medals affixed to appropriate ribbons on a 111 mm long metal bar, with horizontal pinback.
