Germany, Wehrmacht. A Medal for Spanish Volunteers in the Struggle Against Bolshevism

(Erinnerungsmedaille für die spanischen Freiwilligen im Kampf gegen den Bolschewismus). Constructed of zink, on loop for suspension, the obverse with central shields bearing a Wehrmacht-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika and a Spanish Falange insignia, pierced by a sword, topped by a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet), with a swastika flanked by laurel leaves at the bottom, reverse inscribed “DIVISIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE VOLUNTARIOS EN RUSIA” (“DIVISION OF SPANISH VOLUNTEERS IN RUSSIA”), with an Iron Cross suspended from laurel leaves at the bottom, unmarked, measuring 32 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
