An eight-pointed star constructed of gilded zink, the obverse depicting a six-leaved rosette, surrounded by a laurel wreath tied together at the bottom via a ribbon, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 49.76 mm (w) x 49.53 mm (h), weighing 26.4 grams, accompanied by its original case of issue, constructed of card stock with a faux black leather exterior and a gold embossed depiction of the award on the obverse lid, with a white satin-type lid liner, intact hinge cover, functional magnetic metal spring catch with exterior stud release, functional magnetic metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 70 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
