Germany, Third Reich. A Group of Honor Crosses of the German Mother

(Ehrenkreuze der Deutschen Mutter in Bronze, Silber, und Gold). A group of three Honour Crosses of the German Mother, encompassing all grades, each constructed of (silvered and gilded) bronze with multi-coloured enamels, sun rays emanating between the arms of a Latin Cross from the centre applique, central medallion depicting a black enameled swastika ringed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“The German Mother”), on loops with period original ribbons, reverses inscribed with institution date of “16 Dezember 1938” and facsimile of the Führer and Reichskanzler, each unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
