Germany, Luftwaffe. A Bronze Grade Squadron Clasp for Transport Pilots, 1957 Issue

(Frontflug-Spangen für Transport- und Luftlandeflieger in Bronze). Constructed of bronze, depicting obverse blackened Luftwaffe-style German national eagle within a laurel wreath, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, reverse plain with barrel hinge and narrow banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 77 mm (w) x 24.84 mm (h) and weighing 17.5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
