Germany, Third Reich. A Weidorf Farmers Association Parade Flag

(Paradefahne). A double-sided flag of multi-piece construction, the flag consists of a red cotton rectangular base measuring 133 cm (w) x 113 cm (h), with a white circle 83 cm in diameter in the centre bearing a black swastika, measuring 78 cm (w) x 79.5 cm (h), constructed of seven separate pieces of black cotton fabric, in the top left corner is a small green rectangle, measuring 28.5 cm (w) x 22.3 cm (h), bearing a plow constructed of golden thread embroidery, bearing the motto ORTSBAUERNSCHAFT (LOCAL FARMER’S ASSOCIATION) WEIDORF, the reverse is identical to the obverse, with six nickel alloy loops for flag pole attachment, displaying moderate soiling and signs of age, and in overall very fine condition.
