(Pelzmützen). A fur cap constructed of Police grey-green wool, with slightly mottled brown rabbit fur on the front with fold down side ear and back panels, these panels are held in the upright position by a herringbone twill/rayon strap, the reverse of the fold down panels are lined in quilted grey cotton twill, the central front fur panel features a silvered metal Police insignia, the interior of the cap is fully lined in quilted grey cotton/rayon blend material, with internal padding, maker mark R.B.No. 0/1260010747, also stamped with size 58 and the year 1944, measuring 20 cm (w) x 26 cm (l) x 12 cm (h), displays minimal signs of wear, and in better than extremely fine condition.
